Becca & Zach’s
wedding at the George Peabody Library already had the kind of setting most couples dream of; towering stacks, warm light, and that effortless sense of history the space carries on its own. They leaned into the mood of the library beautifully, keeping the day intimate, romantic, and a little bit moody in a way that felt completely natural for the venue. They both got ready at Hotel Revival, a boutique art hotel, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Once ready, they met in the park downstairs, where they shared their undocumented, private vows.
Their ceremony incorporated the Jewish traditions that are most meaningful to them– the Seven Circles, drinking from Kiddush cups, and inviting those who are dear to them to read the Seven Blessings. The ceremony felt deeply personal—calm, grounded, and intentionally connected. Their cocktail hour was designed to echo a speakeasy, and in the Peabody’s architecture, it felt immersive; soft lighting, pockets of conversation, and this quiet sense of stepping into another world for a moment.
The reception brought all of that atmosphere into a more playful space. They had a roaming selfie-booth moving through the crowd, which added a fun, candid layer to the evening, and one of the highlights was the Crafted Cannoli man—truly a dream moment for Becca. Fresh cannoli being filled and passed around in the middle of the Peabody is something I’ll never forget seeing, and guests loved it just as much. The whole day felt thoughtful and curated without ever losing the easy joy that makes a celebration feel alive.
