wedding was a beautiful celebration of not only their love story, but also the people and places that have shaped their lives together. With most of Claudia's family traveling all the way from Chile to celebrate, it was important that the day honored her roots, weaving subtle nods to Chilean culture throughout the design. Lush tropical florals brought that vision to life, creating a vibrant, modern aesthetic that echoed the landscapes and warmth of Chile while blending seamlessly with the couple's timeless style.
Claudia and Nick spent their morning getting ready with friends before stepping outside Hotel Revival to Mount Vernon Park in Baltimore for their first look. Before their wedding day, they both told me they value creativity and wanted me to have the freedom to explore. They wanted to spend a lot of time with me creating portraits because, while they both value my art, Nick is a photographer himself, making his passion for photography especially tangible. It was a bright, sunny day, and one of my favorite parts of a day like that is getting to play around with the sun, using shadow and light to my advantage which you'll notice throughout this gallery. We spent the majority of our portrait time between the park and the hotel before making our way to Woodberry Kitchen for their ceremony and reception, filled with tears of joy and laughter. Later in the evening, the couple pulled out leis, hats, beads, and a giant cutout of their pup, drawing inspiration from Chilean culture to create their own Hora Loca.
